All at once exotic and mysterious and perhaps a little bit insane, with a lingering hint of smoke.

This is one of the most unique teas I ve ever sipped, and it took me a while to enjoy it. The first time I had it, I sniffed and was instantly in 221B Baker St. It smells exactly how you d imagine Sherlock s flat would. The taste put me off the first time, and I did not like the smoky flavour. It wasn t until I started getting into drinking smoky Isla scotch that I went back to Sherlock and tried it again and loved it! It s not an everyday sipper, you have to be in the right mood, but it can be a really cozy cuppa. It s smoky with a little spice, warm and comforting but offputting at the same time. Much like Sherlock. Perfect with a splash of milk and a little bit of sugar to bring out the full flavour profiles. @adagioteas

This is a great tea. The smell is super strong and the taste is as strong too. This tea makes me sleepy. (3 mins @ 212°C)

Might just be my luck but I tasted basically no spice and all souchong. (3 mins @ 212°C)

I think this is the tea that convinced me that I really do like lapsang souchong. Smoky to the point of almost being savory. I like it with half&half (but that's how I take the majority of my tea.) Probably not for you if you don't like lapsang souchong because it's definitely the driving flavor. (3 mins @ 212°C)

I was surprised by the smell. Like others say, it really does smell like smoke. It fits the character incredibly well! I was worried the flavor would make me feel sickly, but definitely not. Incredibly well done. Absolutely captured the Sherlock-feeling.
